Posters and pictures

The one thing that can change your room so much with so little effort is posters and pictures. As long as you have the pictures that suit your vibe and personality it can feel so much nicer to be in your room. The difference between a room with pink, funky posters and white, simple posters is so big.

You could either go for a kind of "modern" teenage girls room like 2000s vogue, leopard print, black and white posters or more kind of whimsy: swirls, animals, colourful, a bit of random cute stuff. As long as it's your own free vibe, rock, alt, 1990s, anything that you like.

You don't need to pay some kind of fancy company. Just use any digital device to print out the pictures you want. (of course it depends on what size you want, if you want it bigger you might have to consider contacting some printing company.

Any kind of display

Every teen girl has at least more than half of these: Jewellery, Sunglasses, Lip gloss, makeup, keys, keychains, hairclips, magazines, books, DVD's, bangles and a shoe collection. Even the most kind and angelic people has a kind of braggy side inside of them, even if its not like super obvious or in a vicious. Most of the population wants to show off something of their that they're proud of. In this case the makeup, magazines, jewellery, etc. are the show off things.

There's this one idea of displaying with a bowl, not the bowl but with the bowl. Put the sunglasses and accessories inside a more flat bowl.

The other idea of a display is an idea taken from TikTok. It's top 3 things to use wrongly, if you take a metal paper holder and stack your bangles onto it. (step 1: buy bangles)

the third and last one is hanging magazines open on hangers (clothing ones) on the wall to display the covers or backs.

You could have a simple see-trough jewellery box to display that. Any form of item that includes a cool item or accessories are seen as display.

Colourful bedsheets and pillows

The different patterns and colour on the bedsheets and pillowcases also makes a big difference in the vibes of the room since the bed is one of the main parts of a bedroom.

I feel like something navy blue could be really pretty or something pink. For patterns I personally like polka dots but stripes, hearts, literally anything you like.

Also just new pillows could be fun. My wishlist for this year has gotten very well thought through and this pillow from H&M Home looks super cute and fuzzy, I really think it takes up more of the empty space and fills up a corner of my future cozy armchair.

Also, an armchair would be so nice to sit for late night Pinterest scrolls and a cup of tea.

Must haves: (extras)

Here are some extra things that for me is a must-have. And of course I'm not judging you if you don't, because even I don't have some of these things.

Magazines laying around the room. (fashion ones ofc!)
Books. It shows that you read a lot and give of intelligent even if you don't read that much. ((This is a reminder to start reading.))
A mirror/mirrors to appreciate how good-looking you are.
Fairy lights, because it's cozy.
Candles that smell so amazing that they remind people of you when they smell it. Anything with vanilla should be a safe choice btw :) Just choose whatever smells nice to you.
A speaker, when getting ready music is a must-have. Then again if you need it anywhere else, you can! Because you're getting... A portable speaker. (one you can carry around)
DVD's because they're cool.
