Your guide to looking like a vs angel from the 2000s
This is the inspo for this tutorial. : ̗̀➛
Step 1.
Prepare your skin
(you need a cleansing cream/foam, moisturizer and a primer)
prep your skin you want to clean, moisturize and top with primer. I use the Pureté Thermal (Eau de Moussant Cleansing Foam) by Vichy. If you're an angel you'll need your moisturizer. A good example is the moisturizing gel-cream by Byoma.
Then before the makeup, top with a primer for it all to last. For this you can use the power grip primer by e.l.f.
Step 2.
Build the base
(the kit contains of foundation, concealer,
bronzing powder and powder blush)
Now, to start off the vs angel makeup base, apply the Charlotte Tilbury foundation in
dots around the face. Blend it out with a damp brush outwards. Place the Rimmel
concealer eraser eye under the eyes in triangular shape and upwards following the
shape of the eye. Place it on the chin and right over the middle of the eyebrows.
Blend it out gently with your fingers. Now pat the bronzing powder (of your choice)
with a large brush on the top of the cheekbones to sculpt the cheeks, on the
forehead into the hairline (not in the middle of the forehead but the two sides), and
lastly either just a teeny tiny bit on the jawline or one brush stroke to define it.
Step 3.
eye makeup
(you'll need highlighter, eyeshadow in
a light tone, middle and darker)Put the medium/darker tone in the outer corners of the eyes and work inwards. Use a flat brush with the same dark (or darker) right under the eye with the thin side of the brush.
Use the silvery-glitter eyeshadow in the middle of the eye up to
the crease or eyebrow (optional).
Then put the highlighter or almost white in the inner-corner of the eye going over and under the top and bottom parts.
So we've now gone from dark in the outer corner to super light in the inner corner, If you've done that you have followed the
instructions well so far angel ☄ . *. ⋆
Step 4.
Create your lip combo
(you'll need a nude lip pencil,
Lip gloss and highlighter)
For the lippies I've had so much trouble finding a fitting shade of the pen for me,
but one of many great brands is Mac Cosmetics and their lip pencils.
Apply the nude shade of lip pencil on the outer shape of the lips. Before adding the
Lip gloss apply some highlighter with the tip of your little finger on the philtrum
(the middle, top part of the top lip).
| Finish off adding Victoria Secret's Sugar High lip gloss. |
Step 5.
Finishing touches
(you need eyeliner, mascara
and highlighter)
For this look don't use a liquid eyeliner. Now use the tip of the eyeliner on the end of the eyes outer corner.
Finish the eye look with Mabelline's sky high mascara. Try to apply it brushing up and outwards on the ends so that no big bits are formed on the lashes.
Apply the highlighter in the places you haven't already of the following: the inner cheekbones, inner corners of the eye, middle part of the eye, on the philtrum, the tip of the nose, the top part of where the nose ends.
